Why families trust us

Care feels safer when the setting feels familiar.

Families do not need more pressure when they are searching for care. They need clear answers, a calm environment, and people who take the time to understand what daily life should feel like.

Small enough to know each person

With five resident beds, care can stay personal. Staff have more room to notice routines, preferences, changes, and small details that matter.

A home, not a hallway

The setting is residential, quiet, and familiar. Families can picture real meals, conversation, rest, and ordinary days instead of an institutional routine.

Professional support without coldness

Sygma House follows Minnesota assisted living standards while keeping communication and daily care grounded, respectful, and human.

Daily life and care

The goal is not just care. It is a calmer day.

Daily support should feel steady, not rushed. Residents can receive help with meals, medication support, mobility, personal care, and companionship while still being treated as people with choices.

Support nearby, not forced

Caregivers stay attentive while respecting independence wherever possible.

Meals and routines that feel familiar

Shared spaces, kitchen rhythms, and simple daily routines help the home feel lived in.

Families kept in the loop

Questions are welcome. Communication should feel direct, calm, and easy to understand.

Warm living environment

A peaceful place to visit, ask questions, and imagine everyday life.

The home matters because families are not only choosing services. They are choosing where someone may wake up, eat, rest, talk, and feel safe.

Personalized care services

Care plans should fit the person, not the other way around.

Sygma House supports adults who need daily help while preserving dignity, privacy, and choice. Families can ask about fit, timing, payment options, and care needs before making decisions.

Medication support

Medication assistance and coordination are handled with attention, documentation, and communication.

Daily personal care

Help can include dressing, bathing reminders, meals, mobility support, and household routines.

Companionship

Conversation, shared spaces, and a smaller setting help reduce isolation and make daily life feel less alone.

Peace of mind

Families deserve clear communication before and after move-in.

You should be able to ask direct questions and receive direct answers. We can talk through care needs, tour options, waiver/private pay questions, timing, and next steps without pressure.

Before a tour

Tell us what your family is trying to solve. We will help you understand whether the home may be a fit.

During a tour

Walk through the home, see the rooms, and ask about daily routines, staffing, meals, and care coordination.

After a tour

If it feels right, we can talk through intake, timing, documents, and payment options at a pace that makes sense.

Care philosophy

Dignity is in the small things.

A calm greeting. A familiar seat. A preferred drink. Time to answer a question. These details are not extras; they are part of helping people feel safe and respected.

Can residents keep independence?

Yes, wherever it is safe and appropriate. Support should help residents keep routines, preferences, and dignity.

Can families ask questions before applying?

Yes. A tour or phone call is often the best first step if you are still deciding what kind of care is right.

Is this a fit for urgent needs?

Call us directly for urgent placement questions. Hospital discharge and time-sensitive situations receive priority response.

What if we are unsure about payment?

We can talk through private pay and waiver questions, including what information your family may need next.

Come see if the home feels right.

No pressure. Visit, ask questions, and take the time your family needs.

About Sygma House

A licensed residential assisted living home serving adults 18+ in Minnesota. Currently accepting residents.

Our Story

Sygma House was founded with a single purpose: to create the kind of assisted living home we would want for our own family members. Not a clinical facility, not a large institution — a genuine home where people are known by name, not room number.

We serve adults 18 and older who need daily support but want to maintain their independence and dignity in a residential setting. With only five residents, our staff have the time and capacity to truly care for each individual.

Our home is licensed by the State of Minnesota under Chapter 144G (the Uniform Demonstrated Ability and Licensure Standards for Assisted Living Act) and we welcome residents on private pay and Medicaid waiver programs including the Elderly Waiver.
